Title I, Part A provides additional funds to qualifying schools.  The purpose of these funds is to provide economically disadvantaged students a significant opportunity to receive a fair, equitable and high-quality education and to close educational achievement gaps and gain the skills to master the Florida Standards.  These resources provide extra teachers and support staff, professional development, parent and family engagement activities and other instructional supports designed to raise student achievement.
